Running Slows The Effects of Aging

Regular running has been demonstrated to slow the effects of biological aging on the human body, says a new study published by the Stanford University School of Medicine. Over the course of the study regular runners had much lower incidence of cardiovascular disease in addition to many other disease, and were half as likely to die an early death compared to non-runners.

All the more reason to lace up and hit the pavement. Exercise has been shown in many studies to benefit greatly both mind and body.
